![]() That’s because you don’t hate questing as much as I do (and many others do). I wouldn’t let doing a couple days of story content be what ruins your WoW experience. Really don’t think it’s much asking for a player to do the fully story once on release. If genuine though, the questing experience is different from doing end game content. That last line is really what made me agree with the “Sunday” post thing. As it stands, the game unfairly rewards PVE players, and time gates / locks content behind PVE activities. It is also one of the best PVP games out there, and so PVP players who enjoy that side of the game should not be punished or limited for what they enjoy to do in the game. It seems likely that many of those people don’t care about the “MMO” aspects of the game at all, other than getting to the end of it so they can PVP. There are people who only PVP on WoW and see it as the best PVP game and do high-level Esports, for example. Saying “it’s an RPGMMO” is not a response to this, because that’s just your interpretation of what WoW is - but WoW is many things to different people. I should be able to access the zones and features of an expansion without being forced to PVE to gain access to those features. So you are right, in a sense: no PVP player is going to be separated completely from PVE, and that’s my point. ![]() I spent a ton of time just doing world pvp, for instance, in Zereth Mortis. Just because I don’t want to do a bunch of tedious, boring quests doesn’t mean that I won’t help my friends and family with certain quests and activities in those zones, and it doesn’t mean that I don’t want access to dragon riding or the zones themselves. Even if it does completely change, you’re missing my point. That was a huge problem in shadowlands, and it doesn’t look to have changed. Let me clarify: Dragonflight absolutely will require PVE content grinds (and not just quests) in order to PVP. ![]() The vast, VAST majority of players are not going to be playing even remotely close to this thoughīut you already can in essence since you can level up through BGs and stuff if you care about it to such a degree and hate everything and everyone else to that degree Even if you say that you only care about PvP, if you only care about it to that degree… you don’t even need to go the dragon isles - you can just ask someone to teleport you to where the PvP vendors are (whenever if they aren’t already implemented in the game) and just stand there and buy gear whenever you come out from a BG or Arena ![]()
